This week we competed in a mathletics competition against rooms 2,4 and 6.....WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!
The most exiting part was when we won, room 2,4 and 6 had to clean our room!!
The hardest part was........TASKS SO MANY TASKKS! I had to do almost more than 20 tasks to get my 5000 and something pionts!!!!!!
If we did it again,I'd want room 4 to stop yelling and sceaming "YEAH WERE ON TOP AND YOU CANT BEAT US"!!!!!and I would do it a bit more at home than in school!

This week we sung We Are Done by the Madden Brothers.
I think the song is telling you to stand up to yourself and say your done with something like,Im done with worring about maths or
Im done with being afraid of the dark,Because of the couras Done Done Done Done Done Done We are Done!
To me its telling me to be done with something and stand up for myself because the courase ad the title of the song.
My favurite part of the song is....Why Does t always change to guns and chains,Eventuly. Because it is catchy and I like it.

My Weekly reflection
The best thing this week was doing art all day with mrs cowan because
we got to do silhouette art again but this time with dye!
The hardest thing this week was drawing a illustration on a dust book cover because i had to draw MR GUM! :]
Something I am going to work on next week is filling in my reading log at home because I always end up doing it at school
befor the bell goes!!!!
Thursday 18 September
Today for art room 5 created a moving image of eny thing we wanted! To do this we needed a straw,some colours of dye,a Silhouette of what ever we wanted that was apropiet for shcool and some papper. With the straw and dye we had to put a bit of dye up the straw and blow the dye out of the straw onto the papper eg……….you blow the dye on the papper behind the the surfboad to make movement.When you do this it may look like your image is moving! Look at the other pictures see how they did it :] !

My weekly reflection
This week I really enjoyed doing our tinfoil man art! because we had to chose a sport and....put our man into action! I did archery.
Something I found hard this week was Doing a treasure hunt for maths today because I had to go in buddies with Jayden D.... we scaned the QR codes and awnsered the questions but....WE FORGOT TO WRITE THEM DOWN IN OUR MATH BOOKS! so we had to start again!
What I love the most about our topic work is going to life ed this week! because We got to learn more about the human body.... SO FUN I really wish we could do that again :]
Friday 1st August
Have you ever been to a very cold place called….Hamilton? No Dunedin? No Taupo? Yes!
In the holidays I went to Taupo for a few days.On the way my family stopped at cafe.
Back in the car on the way We finally got there ‘Dad’ I asked ‘Are you sure this is the right hotel/motel?’ ‘Glad you asked’ It is not the right one!he replied.
After that we all found the right place. We unpacked and then set off to the huka falls and the huka prawn park. Sadly the huka prawn park was closed so we went home after we all went to the huka falls.On the next day we all went to the huka prawn park because it was closed.
In the morning all of us were hoping to go to the snow but the mountain was closed.Even the next thursday when we got back It was still closed! :(
‘Ahh its nice to be back home’ I said when the family all got home.Before bed I snuggled Gemma my cat then said good night after that EXHAUSTING holiday.

My favorite thing this week was:Doing the class paper plane contest with Mrs Cowan. The class had to make a paper plane and then race it. My paper plane did not go far!
The hardest thing this week was:Making a paper plane. Sometimes they can be very hard to make.
A risk I took this week was:Learning to do vivid vocab.Sometimes it very hard to do if it is a hard word. My Favorite vivid vocab word is 'Permanent'. It means stable or can never be moved.

the class werer getting some dogo points but I just coulden't get one!
A risk I took this week was:Getting a dogo point! I finily got one Because:I had finneshed a task and was on task

Today room 5 read a book about the EATH and the ANIMALS.
The book was about mother eath writing a letter to us it said stuf like....'please stop littering and start recicling'
as well as 'did you know that the animals of the earth are your brother and sisters and that the whole world is a big family'. We also had to resheach about a animal and so I chose a penguin.
Here are some facts
1.penguins can drink sea water!
2.No penguins live at the South Pole!
3.The Blue Penguin are the smallest type of penguin
4.Penguins can not fly
5.Sometimes penguins spend half the day on land and the other half in water!
6.Large penguin populations can sometimes be found in Newzealand and Australia.

cats are cool!!
In the weekend me and my amazing family went to the noisy pet shop to buy a pet. We saw a super cat! IT WAS PLAYING VIDEO-GAMES!
did you know that cats eat mice and birds?There was heeps er cats and kittens like this one.It was AWESOME to see all
of thease cats and kittens.
We decided to buy the one with devil horns.They are so.................... wait look at these cuties! They are called persions.
When we all got home we played with the cat and I fed it.When we had fell asleep the cat did to but suddenly when the night had fell and morning had struk the cat was trying its best to get out.We took it to the vet then meow said a little voise.We all looked at the cat but it was not the cat......... it was some tiny lovely kittens the family realised even me there was TEN tiny kittens so we took them all home and there you go my story of 100 words or even more!
